BoothPinnacle; leading trip for LVMC

pics by Harlan W.S., Fred L. & Ali H.

Route to Booth was 10.7 miles RT and 3100' accumulated gain; 13 people did this peak.  We picked a rougher route (short class 4 wall) to avoid rockfall. Three people went on to Pyramid.  Meanwhile, CP was off on a far-ranging 15 mile loop.

We set up an etrier on a sling. Most of
the energy would be absorbed by the
shallow rock horn; I just needed to apply
enough force to keep the sling from
sliding off the horn.
