Take the trail to Stanley B Springs from the Kyle Canyon Road, and head up the canyon NW past the last piped spring. Just before the class 3/4 dry falls, cut N (right) up to the ridge, and follow the ridge WNW, then WSW, to the break between the south and north peaks of Coxcomb. No more than class 2.
