Gunsight Notch Peak- Juniper Peak Traverse with Rap.

Harlan W S & Candace W.
Feb 27, 2013

This "hike" is in Red Rock, NV, west of Vegas.  Special thanks to Jim E for helping set everyone up on the rap. Take a minimum of 100' rope;
the exit is easiest from the S side of the boulder, but that exit requires a diagonal rap, to a small landing.

I'm looking down.  There is usually
a rap sling situated behind me; but
locals know of a way to avoid the rap.
