Mummy 27x, with Snow

I wanted to check the conditions, as I am supposed to go up a Spring Mt peak a week from today.  The snow was a bit creepy (2" soft slushy corn on hardpack). Given the high temps this week, there will likely be more melting shortly.
(As it turned out, the next week had 21” new powder!)

I went up the standard scree slope,
with some shortcuts.

Typical slope near the top of the scree

a big deal, but the snow was a bit creepy.

Proof I was there!  I did my pose
twice, but the wind (gusting  to 60 mph)
knocked my camera to the side.
