This route would be fatally hot in summer; no reliable water en route, no trails. Trip as shown was 11.9 miles, 3900' accumulated elevation gain.
Booth and Pyramid can be climbed class 2+; we chose routes that had class 3 and small class 4 sections.

These mountains can also be approached from Boathouse Cove Road.

View SW to Sentinel, as we are about to enter Pinto Valley.	We came up the "barrel" route; this stretch (class 4) can be avoided.
We crested the ridge at 2850', just as a herd of sheep ran off.. Pyramid is visible at L.		View NW as we near the western edge of the loop.
We start up the W ridge of Pyramid. This route is more challenging thn the normal access.	Muddy Mt in the distance.	View ESE to the shoulder of Pyramid.
	Luba on edge. Charleston is visible in distance.
		Near the top, buig cliffs on S side.

		The slog up the NW side of Booth; we look for the least loose rock.
Class 3 gully for the W route.		Luba pops over class 4 wall. I walked around the corner, class 2 with exposure.
On top of Booth. view NNW; Muddy in back.		Ed downclimbs class 4 wall.
Luba balances on class 4 wall.	Alteration rocks in the volcanics.
	Back to the gravelly, pleasant wash for trip out.	We arrive at top of ridge, now the trip is mainly downhill.
Sun is on the Bitter Ridge to N, as we cross the E end of Pinto Valley.
