These photos were taken with an Olympus 720 SW, which is water-proof, but has a tiny lens with poor light-gathering power. I forgot to urn on the flash for several canyon photos. Hence, some photos are blurry.

This was a great trip… 90F on the walk out, thank God we were in direct sun. Three of our compatriots had to turn back – one to help the other two – because of physical disabilities. I agonize for them, and fully expect they will complete a similar trip in the next year. I have a soft spot for people with physical disabilities.

The rappels are very short, and if you are a rock climber, you could probably downclimb all the sections in low-flow conditions, or just get by with a handline.
