We went clockwise. I've done the trip over Ann. Narrows Peak a least 3 times before; the addition of Murphy's Peak by a non-standard route made it a lot more interesting. |
Here's our route up Murphy's Peak. This is a Google synthetic, and tends to wash out the cliff bands. The normal and much easier route is from the R. The peak was named after Susan M, and her 1st climb was probably very similar. |
We start out the day in Anniversary Narrows. |

Oops! We went a little too high too soon, but that meant I got to see some new territory. |

Magically, we are now at the pass, looking SW up ay Ann, Narrows Peak. |

I took a quick pic of myself, as I wanted to head down and help an other climbers with the rough route-finding. |
|
I saw Kay and Jim about 100' vertical below the summit, and opted to re-ascend. |

Jim comes over the top. |
I went back S to photograph them on the summit. |

You can see the folks below, waiting. Kay wanted to take pictures of us climbing down, so she went ahead. |
Around this time, I trundled some loose rocks off the path, and they fell for several hundred feet. |
Finally we meet the other folks, who were freaked by the trundled rocks! |
