After driving from Vegas for over 6 hours, we were ready for a leg-stretcher. We parked 3 miles from the summit on the access road, and walked to the top of Kitt Peak at a good clip. |

We cruised up to the highest remaining rock. The 4m telescope building is a lot higher. |

Another view of Babo to S of Kitt Peak. After walking back to the car, we continued through
the town of then S and E to The park is really a campground on the Tohono O’odham Nation. The original camp was built via the CCC in the 1930s. |
The next morn we headed E from the camp at ~6AM. |

Next we come over a chockstone (class 3), and start a class 2 slog on Hobbit trails to the summit. |
