*Get Alda and Val on Bridge (…Mountain, near Las Vegas NV)

Bridge Mountain in background. For Val's Mum, here is the route.	Still Climbing down.	We've made it up to the arch (the "Bridge", for which the mountain was named) -- note the lone hiker on the top of the bridge.

On the way up, we walked over the TOP of the bridge.	On top-- view NW toward snow-covered Griffith Peak.	Requisite cerebellum check for Harlan.

View S toward Mount Wilson.	To the north, the Search and Rescue team was practicing helicopter rescue.	Alda above the eastern tinaja (a deep water-filled hole) near the summit.

Descending; view west.	On descent, we went under the bridge. View NW.	More descent, after the bridge.

	Alda starts down the lower slope.	Val gives a "good luck" smile before descent.

View W, at other hikers on far side of pass.	Now we've traveled W across the pass, and start climbing back up toward the limestone ridge. View E.	More climbing.

View ESE; Bridge Mountain in background. Las Vegas is visible at right, in back of the mountain.	Almost ready to cross over the ridge and descend back to the car.
