 After passing by a concrete dam, one gets into the canyon proper. |

 The 2nd ladder is at right. This one is overhanging; if your pack is substantial, you may want to trail it from a cord and haul it up. else it will tilt you backwards. |

 The anchors at top 2nd ladder are substantial and would make a decent rap anchor -- no more than 20m rope needed. |

 This is the major obstacle; camera is pointed up about 45 degrees. This is the left (east) side, a slick chute. |

 I was surprised to read Ed's comment. I looked hard for a register in 2004, but found none. I suspect the cairn collapsed and crushed his Gatorade jar. |

 Many attributed a religious meaning to Gottlieb ("God loves" in German). Actually I named it after a former boss who metaphorically "looked down on Summerlin." In 1999, we would go outside and name these peaks after our bosses as a joke. |
