Lost Creek to North Peak

(in Red Rock, near Las Vegas, NV)

Harlan W. Stockman
March 27, 2005

Described as "one of the most intense rock scrambling hikes in Red Rock." This is a class 4 route, and is very slippery when wet. Bottom line: don't try it unless you are with people who are familiar and comfortable with class 4 and significant exposure. Navigation is tricky; if you really want to go, consider becoming a member of www.hikinglasvegas.com and getting the full route description.

I didn't crack my head this time. I did, however, almost slip on a banana peel. I'm not joking -- my guess is that the peel was thrown down from the cliffs by technical rock climbers.
