Morey and Table Mts., NE of Tonopah, NV

Please note: the road up Sixmile Canyon is very rough; 4WD vehicles have been found abandoned on the route. I had to make 21 stream crossings (with water) to get to 7500’. The brush hangs very low over the wet sections, and there were 3’-tall weeds growing in the road in places. Don’t take a car that has a nice paintjob.

Table is also called Danville Peak. (Warning: this classic song is truly painful.)

There was a great campsite (dry) at 8200’.	I think this black plastic is part of the underside Of a Subaru. Kim lost such a part in 2004.	Checker Mallow
		One comes to this gate, immediately after Cresting the forested N side.
	Elk scat.	I saw snow as low as 9500’ on the N side.
View NE.	View E.	I found only a witness benchmark. I suspect the other benchmarks cracked off and fell down the E side cliffs.

A buckwheat?	There are nice copses amid the sage.	Carrot-family member, possibly poisonous.
