This page recounts 5 of my visits (of 6) to the area in the last year -- to Pa's Rump, Claret, Misty, and "NOT Bluebird;" 3 of the recent trips were for recovery. Previous visits are described here and here.
I first went up the steep slope between the twin peaklets of Pa's Rump in 2005, not long after my dad had died. The name was a takeoff on Pahrump, and my dad's sense of humor. At that time, there was no register or sign of previous visitation. CP went shortly after, and the peak name entered into a guide book... and when I went back 9 years later, well...
