White Rocks Hills Peak with LVMC

Trip led by Chris M. We had seven altogether; Chris M, Susan, Lee, Roy, Fred, Ali and myself. This was my 9^th or 10^th time up White Rock Hills, from a variety of routes.

24k topo with GPS trace	View E from top of Tia Grande (Big Mama), the 8200’+ limestone peak to the west of White Rock Hills. Our route is shown in blue and magenta for the last canyon. Dots indicate the route is out-of-sight behind the ridge.
The big “chimney” on S side. Lee watches Sue, and worries; “What if she falls? She has the lunch in her pack!” he explains.
Chris: “We don’t need no stinkin’ badges, or straps!”	Chris M poses as Snoopy looks on.

Damsel and Turtlehead Peaks in distance.		We made it! Calico Hills in back.
Eagle or huge hawk. When it took off, the wingspan was huge, and the bird barely flapped its wings.		Descent on S side of summit.
In the descent canyon. View W to Tia Grande, the peak used to take the view of White Rock at the top of the page.	Snoopy to the left.	The last wash out.
