Yosemite LVMC Trip

This LVMC trip was arranged by Chris and Kristi M. Shown are a very few of the many activities of the campers. The trip was cut short by the rough weather that moved in later that week.

GPS trace for the Half Dome trip (the GPS didn’t track well in the lower part of the canyon).	Meeting at the 1^st bridge across the Merced.	The steps below Vernal Falls.
BW saves us from certain doom, as he holds up a huge collapsing rock on the trail.	Base of Nevada Falls.	Ravens.
Fancy outhouses ~6000’.	View S as we hit the rock ~8000’.	The top of Half Dome is visible to W.

At top, view W. A series of “prescribed burns” screwed up views for several days.		Susan crosses the upper part of the cables (above the steep stuff). BW stayed below taking videos of us all.

	The group convenes at the W peak for the pushup clinic.
Darn, my foot STILL itches. A German fellow asked if I could do this with both feet at the same time. Sadly, the answer is yes.		Chris descends. Traveling down on the outside of the cables is not recommended, but it does reduce conflicts.

Next morning, Chad studied for his topology exam.	The next day, Kristi and Christine made a waterfall loop…
