I hesitated to include this peak, because the road in is truly terrible; but the road doesn't require 4x4 and doesn't need that much clearance. It's just terrible because it is so full of sharp rocks, and the most important criteria are 1) slow driving and 2) good tires. I included this peak mainly because the trailhead is also the start of the Sloan Canyon petroglyph tour, and also the starting point for Sutor Mountain hike. Circling over Canine Crag allows one to reach a bunch of rough, neat little peaks. BLM has intentionally not improved the road, because they want to minimize the chance that Yahoos will come in to desecrate the glyphs... but BLM will probably never let the road get really bad.
