Monument is another summit that remarkably escaped the "52-Peak Club" list. There are several approaches that are not on the scenic loop, so you are not restricted to limited hours. Because there is a western, cooler access, this is often a shoulder-season peak. The best time to visit is after a rainy winter-(early) spring, when the tanks on top are full.
